Growing up in Boulder Creek, I visited Big Basin State Park often to walk the loop trail and grab an ice cream at the park store. Afterward, I would usually pop my head into the museum and park headquarters to enjoy learning about the park's history and the old trees. When the CZU Lightning Complex Fire swept through the Santa Cruz Mountains in August of 2020, Big Basin State Park suffered tremendous losses. I was especially heartbroken to learn most of the historic buildings, including the lodge, were lost to the fire. To honor the park, I created this print to remember the park as I always knew it.

To help support the rebuilding of Big Basin's visitor's center and park headquarters, 10% of all sales from this print will be donated to The Mountain Parks Foundation.

This is an 8x10 print of the former Big Basin State Park Lodge. It is printed on fine art paper.
